Biography
Kelly Caldwell is a fine art photographer who specializes in black and white portraits of dogs and the people who love them. This artistic focus came naturally to Kelly, who describes herself as happiest with a camera in her hands and a dog at her side.
The respect and admiration Kelly holds for her canine subjects is reflected in her work. With each image, she makes a statement about a dog's spirit and the unique way in which he or she inhabits a particular space. Kelly often photographs dogs with their guardians, capturing the moments when the profound nature of the human-animal bond is revealed.
Kelly's photographs have appeared in publications including Modern Dog, Pets Magazine, and Dogs in Canada. Her fine art portraits have been featured at Elevator, a fine art photography gallery in Toronto. In addition, her work has been utilized for a number of commercial projects, ranging from corporate promotions to greeting cards. Kelly lives in Guelph, Ontario.
